MozClass: Web Edition (Day Five)

The MozClass: Web Edition (Day Five ) event held on the 13th of February, 2016 at the AITI Laboratory, Computer Building, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. It was the final session of the Five-Week long MozClass: Web Edition event.

The session was anchored by Michael Okuboyejo, of the IEEE OAU Student Branch. It was titled ‘Intro to GIT’ and was based on introducing participants to Version Control Systems.

Participants were able to install the various tools needed for the session in order to follow through the interactive session. Basic GIT commands were introduced to the participants. They were also able to create GH-Pages for themselves in order to host their personal projects on.

The event marked the end of the Five-Week long event that had been on since 2015. Special thanks goes to Nacoss OAU, IEEE OAU, TJ Lee and other members of the OAU Firefox Club  for their support. The event was AWESOME!!! 🙂

MozClass: Web Edition (Day Four)

The Day Four session of the MozClass: Web Edition event held on the 6th of February, 2016 at the AITI Laboratory, Computer Building, Obafemi Awolowo University. It held successfully after it had been postponed for a while due to the Mid-Semester Break that occurred towards the end of the year 2015.

A brief recap of the first 3 sessions was carried out and participants that just joined were able to catch up. It lasted for about 3 hours after which some participants displayed the personal projects that they have been working on.
