The MozClass: Web Edition event (held at AITI laboratory, Computer Building, Obafemi Awolowo University) was directed at beginners in Web Design and Development. The event is expected to span a total of six weeks. Day One was held on the 14th of November, 2015.
OAU Firefox Club partnered with National Association of Computer Science Students (NACOSS) and IEEE OAU Student Branch to host this event. The turnout of attendees for the event was lovely. Students from all levels were in attendance.
Leye Odumuyiwa, Club Lead of OAU Firefox Club gave a speech on topics such as Becoming a Firefox Student Ambassador, What do we mean by Mozilla and Firefox, Firefox OS and also on Webmaker Tools. He also talked extensively on the usage of X-Ray Googles and Thimble. He also took the attendees through a hands-on session on how the webmaker tools work.
